About CIL PTO
Our mission is to support the needs of the CIL staff and school, to provide communication with parents about school events, and to plan events that create a sense of community for staff, students, and parents.
We hold only 2 General Meetings per year! Choose your level of involvement!
We sponsor many FUN events throughout the school year such as:

- Family Dinner Nights Out at business partner restaurants
- Skate Nights
- Family Fun Night in the fall
- PE Night in the spring
- Teacher Appreciation Week
We have only one fundraiser, our No Show Ball. Instead of students fundraising with catalog or door-to-door sales we ask parents (and grandparents!) to purchase “tickets” to an event they won’t attend. Instead of just a small portion of catalog sales funding our budget, 100% of the proceeds from the No Show Ball help PTO fund:
- $150 mini grants to every classroom teacher for educational materials to enhance students’ learning.
- $500 mini grants to every PAMM department (PE, Art, Music, and Media) for equipment used to teach every student in the school.
- Generous donations to the Choices in Learning school for educational materials and equipment. Last school year PTO donated $2,000 to the technology budget and $3,000 to help purchase new specially bound books for the SFA reading program.
- A quarterly newsletter published for every student to keep our CIL family informed of student achievements, school activities, and general information.
